Hi everyone ^u^
Today is National Stress Awareness Day- so, take a moment to think about what stresses you out AND how to manage that stress! For example... I am stressed out by...
> GCSE Biology Work- it's quite demanding, especially when nobody else in my year is doing it and that makes me feel awkward >-< I had people make fun of me before, but meh- I won't be the one in a Council Flat on Benefits xD
How I could manage that: I should listen to my body- when I'm tired, don't do Biology! I should also not spend excessive time on it- just dedicate some free time at school to doing it, or any free time for that matter when I FEEL like doing it- perhaps treat myself to working on it in the garden, with fresh air, warm spring sunshine and cherry blossoms c: (There's a cherry tree in my garden and it's at the beautiful blossom stage right now).
>Homework- trying to juggle that with my Biology AND activities I enjoy doing is not that easy! I have to do a group presentation and I don't really like my partner :C I don't trust her- I can tell I will have to do 95% of the work as usual... c'est la vie xD She keeps going to the library and stays there all lunch then comes back and asks me where I was- she should have looked for me first! I asked why she didn't make a start on it and she came up with the excuse ''we were meant to do it all together''. Well, if I wasn't there and you didn't bother to search for me, you should have made a start! Then you complain that we are short on time -_-
She's not a good friend either- every time I really need something she's just like ''I need to do my _______ homework'', and she copies almost everything I do! She tries way too hard to be 'cool'- every time something funny happens, she's laughing SO hard, I wonder if she's faking. Listen- laughing along WON'T make you cool, OK? OK? WE CLEAR? NOW SCRAM!
How I could manage that: Similar to Biology- do homework at school , don't do it excessively and relax about it. Try not to do it the period before it's due- I'm guilty of doing that Cx
> Self-esteem: This makes life harder for me. Every day, I feel like I always look awkward, like I'm being judged. I'm too scared to do something as simple as open my bag or take off my blazer on the bus, or eat something on the bus- it makes me skip lunch some days, because I don't have anyone to eat with and eating alone makes me feel awful >-<
People have the impression I'm smart and therefore old-fashioned and boring, so doing something as simple as changing my hair or doing something/ being myself scares me :C
How could I manage it? Haters gonna hate, I'm not changing myself just for other people, to fit in with what is defined as 'normal'. I got Instagram because everyone else was doing it, I tried to fit in- but now I realised I should give up and be myself! c:
It's getting late D:
So- relieve stress! Take a warm bath, drink some tea, and every evening enjoy yourself- cosy in bed, with snacks, a nice drink- and enjoy yourself c:
If it wasn't so late this post would be longer!
Welcome to my blog! I post about all sorts of things that interest me, hoping they will interest you as well. I love sharing tips and advice, so browse through the blog and see what you find!

Oh no! I haven't posted for ages, have I...
Hello to everyone <3
Yes, it's been a month and three days since I posted. I know, I know- I enjoy blogging and all, but I'll try to be more reliable as a blogger now c:
FIRST!
I really love those two outfits :)

FIRST!
I really love those two outfits :)
Yes, I really love the blouse and tights *o*
I admire the Japanese sweet Lolita type of style, but since I can't find many clothes like that, I try to be resourceful and use what I can, I mix and match a lot, too ^o^
I started school today -_-
Let me tell you all about it o-o
I was tired. REALLY tired T^T
And we had assembly today :c (Tuesday morning is Year 8 assembly)
My headteacher's leaving, I've really got mixed emotions as I don't know who's next xD
The deputy head will be the acting headteacher while I'm in Year 9, and when I'm in Year 10 there will be a new headteacher ^^
Anyway, music was not bad, it was quite fun, though history was dull :L
It was quite interesting to learn about slavery, but it was also tiring. -_-
English- bad. We are reading Jamaica Inn, which otherwise is not really a bad book... but... my teacher's voice is so monotone O_O'
He reads the book out to us, and I just can't get comfortable without looking awkward/ like I'm sleeping DX
Then I get distracted with my own thoughts and get confused xD
IT was good because we're moving on to another topic! Whoever appointed the head of IT is just... :T We're doing spreadsheets- last year they were torture but this year they're not that bad because we get to control things- we are organising an event so it's not terrible :p
I don't really look forward to double Art on a Tuesday afternoon, although I do enjoy doing art at home because I have control over what I do- I don't have to do Artist research pages or drawings in the style of Picasso T-T
It was just a lesson for finishing classwork, but since I finished it all before, I just made it look like I was doing something :p I was in fact drawing manga and writing random stuff on paper T^T
The bus home was like a sauna O_O
I'm not looking forward to tomorrow's double English lesson. It's so boring and tiring! If I was more comfortable reading maybe I might have enjoyed that book a bit more xD
That's all for today, bye c:

Surviving Year 7 in a British Secondary School...
I'm now in Year 8 at school and Year 7 was, to be honest, a terrible year for me. I had to endure settling in, being talked to by Year 10s & Year 11s and living with, well, not many friends. I now reflect on myself and think... heck, I would not want to be my own friend after I remind myself of what I was like! I didn't even make an effort to make friends, I was intimidated by everyone else... strange to think that now, only a year later, I'm friends with so many more people, have actually gone out with a friend (not in the dating way), keep in touch with friends using my phone and talk back to Year 11s who treat me unfairly. None of this happened in Year 7. I have made so much progress and learnt so many lessons I figured I should share. First, here's a quick summary of Year 7, skipping some parts ...
At the start I found it very difficult to make friends, and frankly I didn't even try. I replied to everyone in a hostile way, finding them annoying, and at breaks I always sat at the back with a notebook, writing and drawing, getting annoyed every time someone came to me. I was a very cold-hearted person. Things didn't improve, I hated school, and even considered some days to be ''curses''- Tuesday and Thursday, since they were the days I had P.E I was rude, I was happy on the days I was sick and every time somebody asked me a question I snapped at them. I found everything about them annoying, and I was a horrible person in general. Year 11s often asked me what year I was in, what my name was, but that's what they do to Year 7s I guess. I was shy, isolated, and this caused my grades to soar to levels I never thought I was capable of. Exceptionally high, but it came with a cost- I lacked the ability to be happy.I became incredibly indecisive, growing apart from a best friend I had for 7/8 years...
Then I started getting sick. Stomach aches became even more frequent, but I shook it off as just a virus. They kept coming back, but I endured lessons with agonising stomach aches and pain, I was on the verge of crying, and did skip some days because of that. I had an awful pain in my toe which stopped me from walking properly days before my last day of Year 7 which came with awful stomach aches. One time in assembly I had a terrible stomach ache since I woke up, and it hurt so much I ended up closing my eyes and looking down, it hurt so much I was shaking... a girl who I thought hated me noticed and helped me to the medical room... I'm so grateful, and turns out she didn't hate me after all...
Those final weeks of Year 7 were painful ones. Pain so intense I can't describe it properly. My last day was a Tuesday. I forced myself to walk with the toe pain, survived lessons, I couldn't even make it home from the bus stop so my dad picked me up. On Thursday I went to the doctor and they had a blood test done. The next day, they said there was something wrong with my liver. I was worried. I spent 7 hours in A&E and got admitted into hospital.
I didn't come back to school. I missed a month of term time and there was a portion of the holidays I couldn't even go out.
In hospital I started this blog. It details some of my journey.
I ended up missing school so badly.
I was so glad to come back to school. Everyone made me two big cards with their signatures, and I got a card from my head of year ;]
I was so happy, and so far Year 8 is a good one. People noticed I got more positive.
Yes, I was confused as hell in my first week xD
I feel I missed something, and if that's the case that will be another post.
Anyway, here are 10 tips for surviving Year 7!

- Don't be shy! Everyone is the same age as you, perhaps younger, so talk! Someone will like you!
- Don't be hostile. Be open and friendly with everyone.
- Introduce yourself to everyone and give them a chance to talk!
- Get all your homework done. I find it easier to do at school (not the period before it's due though, haha)
- Don't wander off by yourself- try to socialise! There will be people like you!
- Adhere to rules. Detentions are not worth your time XD
- Don't take risks to be cool. If that's the case, they're not worth your time.
- You don't wanna go hungry. You don't. Eat lunch every day, and make sure you eat a snack at break. HAVE BREAKFAST!!!
- Older years treating you unfairly? Stand up! If they appear outraged and stare at you, it's a good sign XD Just don't insult them, just stand up for the right thing :)
- Don't spend too much time on schoolwork
Phew, this was a tiring post to make :)

Everybody can diss Physics though
BIOLOGY= STUDY OF LIFE <3
CHEMISTRY= STUDY OF CHEMICALS AND STUFF <3
PHYSICS= STUDY OF CRAP
Lol now I'm gonna get people all like WELL IF NOBODY CAN DISS BIOLOGY WHY YOU DISS PHYSICS HUH HUH
Well, let's just be clear
If he doesn't like Biology...
kay I don't care
BUT TO PUT ME OFF FROM MY DREAM CAREER SAVING ACTUAL LIVES
Instead of writing crap on blackboards I don't really wanna know how fast a car can stop after braking right now I have lives to save
THAT IS PAS ACCEPTABLE
Hmm, THAT SCHEME DIDN'T WORK
AND I'M GONNA GET MY REVENGE
If there was no Biology, I would be DEAD
DEEEEEEAD
Yeah, medication= chemistry
BUT to study the actual health condition= BIOLOGY
If there was no biology then chemistry would be like
so umm what the hell do we do now
It's like all the sciences are dependent on each other
Yes eventhe devil physics.
AND YES, CHEMISTRY AND PHYSICS ARE ALL DEPENDENT ON BIOLOGY IN SOME WAY, HUH!

In all honesty, it's the medicinal/medical part of Biology I'm interested in, and all the parts of Chemistry that are pertinent. Yeah, Yeah, Physics has its uses which I fully understand...
But to diss biology
Oh talk to the hand
(Gentle language -U-)
Yeah, I LOVE Chemistry
But Physics hasn't got much to do with medicine :/
It has some stuff
Like ultrasounds
But otherwise
Yeah I give in -_-

Faux Soda
YES, IT HAS BEEN A LOOOOONG TIME SINCE I LAST POSTED. SORRY!!! :((((
Life is busy. You know, stuff happens...
Skittles come and go...
So. Hands up if you looooove a refreshing soda, especially on a hot summer day, but all year, too...
Yup, as I guessed- the majority
Now hands up if you were ever stranded in a situation when you really want a soda, you check the fridge, and BAM! No soda for you. You can make your own, don't worry. And for those who care, it's healthier, too, so yeah... :P
This happened when I really wanted some Sprite because ... I don't even know. But okay. I guess I can get away with that. So, I got my DIY brain to do some thinking... and I mixed apple juice with some carbonated water! ♪
Well, it tasted HEAVENLY
Like apple soda. I hope that's a thing.
I guess it is since pretty much everything exists these days.
Anyway... let me just teach you how to make your own soda.
As you get the hang of this, you will create your own flavours, too :P
Here are some examples!
Faux Sprite
*Lemon Juice
*Lime Juice
*Stevia/Sugar/Honey
*Carbonated Water
Faux Orangeade
*Orange Juice
*Carbonated Water
Faux Lemonade
*Lemon Juice
*Honey/Stevia/Sugar
*Carbonated Water
Faux Grape Soda...?
*Grape Juice
*Carbonated Water
Ahh, sipping some of my faux lemonade right now ^-^
Can you share some of your ideas? I'll feature my favourites in the next post if someone comments :P
See you! ^o^

Heavenly Hot Chocolate :D
I did it! I have formulated an AMAZING hot chocolate recipe, it tastes heavenly and I simply can't wait for you to try it, too! :D
Hot chocolate is one of my favourite cold-weather beverages and I want to share this passion with you- yes, you! It can simply warm you up regardless of the temperature, oh and don't even get me started on how well it completes a cosy winter evening, relaxing <3
It's also quite versatile, too, so you can play around with it to suit your tastes.
What are you waiting for? Whip out your ingredients and get going!

| Yummy Hot Chocolate with plenty of marshmallows and some gingerbread to top it off <3 |
You will need:
- Enough milk to fill a glass, or maybe even two! It depends on how much hot chocolate you're making. Rule of the thumb- use as much milk as you want hot chocolate. I have used cows' milk but I think alternatives like almond would work, too!
- About 1 teaspoon of pure cocoa powder (per cup), or more or less to suit your tastes. Play around until it tastes chocolatey enough for you!
- About 1.5 teaspoons of honey, again, play around with it until you get a sweetness that suits you! I probably used close to 2 teaspoons of honey for the hot chocolate pictured above xD (It was amazing)
- Optional: About 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Or maybe something else? Have you tried ginger? Vanilla? Maybe even mint! Isn't this hot choc versatile?
- Optional: TOPPINGS! Marshmallows, cream, grated chocolate... yum! Experiment and see what matches your preferences :D
- TOP IT OFF WITH A YUMMY MUNCHIE! Cookies, gingerbread, cake, muffins... wow I drool just thinking about it.
ENJOY!!!
What hot chocolate mixes can you make?
How do you enjoy hot chocolate?
I sometimes get a cup at school,when I come in, yum :D

Top Virtual Worlds for kids
I have a passion for Virtual Worlds and pretty much any life simulation game. Many people misunderstand this passion and try to stop me from enjoying it, they frown upon it. I ignore those comments and try to prove them wrong. Sure, at first it appears that this passion won't get me anywhere in life (which isn't true, I can make millions from running a Virtual World). This passion is one of the many things in life that make me feel contented, happy and carefree for once. It's a bit like a escape from the burdens of homework and deadlines. Stereotypes immediately try to inhibit my enjoyment. People automatically assume I spend my whole days on the computer wasting my time, doing homework 15 minutes before the deadline. Again, none of this is even slightly true. I put education as my number 1 priority, and I have other interests- I want to learn the piano. I love reading. I like to draw. I have other things on the internet I love to do. I'm not on Virtual Worlds mainly for the social content. I'm there for the opportunities they present. Without them, I would never have formed many incredible memories. The joy of getting my art featured- that would never have happened without Virtual Worlds. I'm 13 and responsible. I know that if you're not careful, Virtual Worlds can potentially wreck your mental, physical and social life. Trust me -I've been there, done that- but I learn from experience. I was younger and immature but those mistakes helped me learn. Had I never gone through those experiences, I wouldn't be as mature as I am now. I know how to balance the things I enjoy with things that need to be done. School for instance. Stereotypes would imagine me as one who would rather use the computer than sleep, eat or get things done. None of it is true. I wish people would accept my passion. It's something that I enjoy (amongst other things) and nobody can take it away from me.
Now, the reasons for my enjoyment of virtual worlds. I don't really know how to explain. I have loved virtual worlds from the moment I discovered them in 2010. It wasn't the social content, friends and chat that attracted me to them as one would imagine. It's the creative potential I have found nowhere else. I do respect the amazing friends I have managed to make, and I think they are amazing and contributed greatly to my memories. However, they aren't what I love most. Virtual Worlds involve plenty of creative activity that I couldn't find anywhere else. Now I made that clear (and I don't want to get into too much detail- yawn!) I'm going to let you know that over the next few posts, each one will focus on a particular virtual world- it will be a review of it! Hopefully it will help you decide what's best, and I'm going to include all the virtual worlds I know regardless of my opinion on them, because what I find awfully dull you might find extremely awesome (and vice versa!). Some of the virtual worlds I will review are:
